Philippines maybe advertise as a 3rd world country but there are still plenty of great stuff to see and enjoy aside from the beaches and natural scenery. Wanna know why “It’s more fun in the Philippines.”
Last February 2012 Autoindustriya.com (AI) organized an event called Speedfest where car enthusiast and racers are invited to join. The event consist of Gymkhana, 1/4 mile run and mile run drag. So where in Philippines was this held? AI rented the whole Subic International Airport for the event, where runway was used for the mile runs and the plane docking area was used for the gymkhana. Anyway I’ll cut the chase, I’ll show you some of the photos that I took during the event.

The Ford GT could be the fastest car in Philippines. It ran 205 MPH in one mile making it the fastest car during the event.

Will these photos fit the slogan “It’s more fun in Philippines.” I’ll say hell yes! It was a successful event, there was no bad incident or accident during the event except for some blown engines but those are normal happenings in this kind of event. Are you looking for more of it?
